How is this different from hiring a consultant?

What's the time commitment?
Typical engagements are 6–12 months. I dedicate significant weekly hours to each company, with regular syncs and weekly deliverables.
Do you work on-site?
Primarily remote with optional on-site days in San Diego. I've found that the best AI work happens asynchronously, but I'm flexible on in-person for kickoffs and key milestones.
What if we already have a CTO?
