Terms of Service

Who these terms are with
These terms govern your use of the hodgen.ai website and of the internal applications operated by Hodgen AI, the software and consulting practice of Michael Hodgen, San Diego, California ("we", "us"). By using the site or connecting an account to one of our applications, you agree to them.
What the applications are
Our applications are internal operations tools built for our own businesses and for a small number of client companies. They are made available to named, authorized users at those companies under a separate agreement. They are not consumer products, they are not sold or offered to the general public, and no right to use them is granted by this page alone.
Connecting a Google account
If you connect a Google account, you confirm you are authorized to connect that account and to grant the requested access. We use that access only to provide the features described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page, and doing so immediately ends our ability to act on that account.
Acceptable use
Do not use our systems to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, send unlawful or unsolicited messages, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with their operation. We may suspend access that threatens the security or integrity of a system or the data in it.
AI-assisted output
Some features draft content for a human to review, such as a suggested reply to a customer. Drafts are suggestions, not decisions. A person reviews and approves anything that goes out. You are responsible for what you choose to send.
Your content and your data
You keep ownership of your content and your business data. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process, and display it in order to run the service for you. We handle it per the Privacy Policy.
Availability, warranty, and liability
The site and applications are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Where a client agreement exists, that agreement governs and its liability terms control over this page.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. We may suspend or end access to an application at any time, subject to any separate client agreement.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Questions go to mike@hodgen.ai.
